It's the most wonderful time of the yeeeear! Ding-dong, ding-dong...let the 3 for 2 from boots-gift-giving-commence!
However may I present you the dream list. Number one is a utterly scrumpicous Ted Baker Woodland Print dress - I'd team this with some vintage chelsea boots, a huge fedora and my trusty fur jacket, but it would equally make an excellent impress-the-future-in-laws outfit a la Kate Middleton style.
Next is a classic leather skirt from Oasis, I'm in my mid 20's now and I really need to start investing in staple pieces and leather is a real good place to start.
The Black fringe bag from Primark, simply because you cannot possibly have too many Black Fringe bags from Primark
The Topshop feather capelet because let's face it one must goth it up every now and again. Plus this item could make even the drabbest of dresses uber cool.
Once again Ted Baker Ted Baker Full Skirt Dress makes an appearance in my wish list who they have upped their game this season! Such a nod to the sixties (the best decade for fashion that ever was - don't argue because I'm right). So well structured, prefect for the office, and the skater style skirt is flattering on all.
Finally the Pink Boucle Dress from Primark. I know what your thinking it's dress is very very Lark, but I love it. It's so JackieO meets Jean Shrimpton. When I look at it I think beehives, winged eyeliner, and ridiculously long falsies. This dress will be mine, I repeat will be...MINE.

When will I be Famous!...
Finally Lark and I agree on something! Who would have thought it would be a lipstick that would have brought us together! A lipstick with such Special powers? ..... introducing LIP ADDICT : FAMOUS by Sue Moxley in Shade 6 CATWALK.
When we first saw this lipstick on the Famousx facebook page it was lust at first sight!
So what really sets this lipstick apart from other brands? A lot of cosmetics companies are making berry shades as it is the number one makeup trend of the moment, but I doubt you'll find one this luxurious at this price point! The lid has it's own mini flip up mirror (perfect for applying on the go), and matching lip balm to add that wow gloss finish - something I took full advantage of (see below, for Thats why the Lady is a Vamp shoot!) Please excuse our lipbrush marks ! For a more subtle daywear look you can opt to just wear the lipstick on it's own, for a more matte look (see below, for Berry lips and Autumn Glitz shoot!)
After being blown away by the overall polished aesthetics. We snapped open the lid and we were immediately hit by the gorgeous aroma of Shea butter. This lipstick just glides on the lips like...well butter.
And it's .....£4.99. No it's not a typo, it's £4.99. And available in a rainbow spectrum of colours. Get one while stocks last!!!! Lipstick c/o http://famousmakeup.co.uk/index.php/lips/lip-addict.html

Couple Crush - Vivienne Westwood and Andreas Kronthaler
Vivienne Westwood and Andreas Kronthaler ( Warning! Picture contains Nudity )
Vivienne Westwood is married to her assistant, Andreas Kronthaler, who in our humble opinion, is absolutely divine. Kronthaler is her former student, and now her design partner. The couple live in South London. I think this picture pretty much speaks for itself !
We love them !!!. Here they are pictured with Pamela Anderson in an 'Anglomania' campaign. We love that they are immensely talented. We love that they look so in love, We love that they work together and make it work. We love that Vivienne has chosen someone that sticks two fingers up to the 'status Quo, but most of all we love that they are 'batshit crazy', you just cant buy brilliance can you ! Couple crush, we salute you x Love and Light the Luna-Lark Girls x

From Catwalk to Sidewalk
Homage to Ashish AW12
If you have never heard of the designer Ashish, I feel sorry for you! Seriously he is a genius, and I mean that in a non 'sweety darling fashion pack way'. The eccentric mix of denim, sequins, eastern, bollywood or as Ashish called his last collection 'Bollywouldnt'. It should not work, this mish mash of cultural influences, but it does 'work', on an epic scale.
Ashish Gupta debuted triumphantly at LFW in 2004 and won the New Generation award, no less than three times. Hailing from Delhi, he studied Fine Art in India, relocating to Middlesex to do a BA in fashion design, and then to Central St Martin's to study for an MA.
As we know catwalk looks are not always easy to translate into real life. Luna and I have attempted to honour Ashish in our own very different ways. Luna has shown how to rock the edgy elements of Ashish, and Lark has taken the uptown route taking only the Sequin element, for a totally different look. We adore his work. Love and light Lark

The Charity Shop Score
This Bag is actually Lark's though it should be mine! Oh how I've begged for it, but I am constantly being refused *sigh*
The bag just looks so expensive at first glance it could be classic Hermes, Louis Vuitton, possibly Gucci. In fact, apart from the faded "made in Italy" label inside the lining the bag manufacturer remains a mystery.

It's A Mad World
Since its arrival on our screens Mad Men has played an instrumental role in the resurgence of interest around 1960's fashion. Although this golden era of design, never went out of style at Luna-Lark mansions ( ever). The star of the show in our eyes, is the foxy Joan Harris played by the wonderful Christina Hendricks. Oh how we love this flame haired doll. Now Christina is famous for her curves, and the one thing about this style is that it flatters the more curvaceous lady. Yes I'm gonna say it. If your 'FAT' and yes I used the F word, this is a style for you, as its gonna make your curves say 'Hello Boys and Girls' Love and Light from Lark x

Boy Crush -Tyler James
There has been a buzz around the name Tyler James for a while amongst those in the know in the British music industry.
His 2005 album The Unlikely Lad did not perhaps make the impact he had hoped. However since his appearance on The
Voice UK under the guidance of the phenomena that is will.i.am. Tyler has shown that he is a force to be reckoned
with. At Luna-Lark mansions, we think the package of silky smooth vocals and quirky fashion sense, set him apart .
The boy can style it ! Lark is happy to consider herself a fully signed up member of #teamtyler.
Tyler has been through more than most of a similar age, with the loss of a close friend, and personal battles of his own.
However I think its fair to say, that our Boy Crush has started an amazing new chapter in his life. Tyler's new Album 'A Place I Go' is out now.

Larkascentual -Shalimar eau Initiale eau de toilette
Shalimar eau Initiale eau de toilette by Guerlain
There seems to be a real lack of imagination in the UK when it comes to choosing a signature scent. In fact it seems we much prefer to jump from scent to scent to scent. I'm guilty of this too, and own a staggering amount of barely used bottles of perfume ranging from delicate roses to dark moody scents.
The scent I would like to introduce you to today is of the latter variety. I discovered Shalimar eau Initiale eau de toilette by Guerlain quite by chance, whilst on a shopping trip with my mom and sister. I'm one of those people that gets fragrance headaches from some scents, so I have to choose carefully. Now I'm not going to lie, I'm a sucker for a bit of kitsch 80's throwback nostalgia. One spray of this sensual, exotic, yet somehow light concoction, and I was enveloped in a cloud of heavenly lushness. Now if you are like Luna and like gentle florals , step away from the Shalimar. This is a slightly different version of the 80;s classic ( ask your mom or grandma ), and it is not for the faint hearted. I urge you to step out of your fragrance comfort zone and try something new, a little unusual , dare i say it a little more adventurous and grown up. So for now this has become my signature scent. We cant all go around smelling of Marc Jacobs Daisy for much longer can we. Love from Lark xox

The Luna-Lark Jukebox
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros are an American band fronted by the enigmatic Alex Ebert. Maybe its because he resembles a hipster holy man in his long white tunic, maybe its the beard, maybe its the voice. We are not sure, all we know is that this is a rare moment of agreement for the Luna-Lark girls, and it was love at first listen. We urge you to check them out ! Start with the single Home, released in 2009 x

Hi Luna-Larkers
Shopping with her can be nightmare. On the plus side, if lost Lark can generally be found near something pink and bedazzled, therefore there's no need to send out a search party. But it has to be said that when she gets it right - boy! does she get-it-right in her own Larky way.
Lark: Hi Guys, allow me to introduce my sister Luna. Luna would probably describe herself as a Beatnik Wednesday Addams.
However to me - Luna is a real style chameleon, part modern day goth, sometimes high fashion, sometimes sixties babe. As much as she will deny it, for the most part she is just an undercover hipster. In short, she simply loves fashion.
Luna and I have been bickering since birth, and we have major arguments over stupid stuff, that can only be solved by google. Im usually right, by the way !
Why not follow us on twitter , we are @lunalark7

Let the tantrums begin.....
Ok after only two and half hours we have a had our first argument about the logo. Though we both agreed on a birdcage-esque motif, once again our clash of taste rears it's ugly head. What started off as light banter - one calling the other tacky, the other a tim burton wannabe, ended up with both of us having dinner in silence. So to end arguements we're leaving it to the public. What's your choice?
